The juggling post got some great feedback so I’ve decided to stick my neck out and create a video on how to juggle. I’m no expert and can juggle only 3 balls. Any experts out there can probably juggle 5 or more balls and will cringe when they watch the below video.
But there are some important lessons to be learned here:
1. We can learn new things and we can do it quickly.
2. Getting the right information helps immensely.
3. In almost all cases you need just enough to get going in the right direction and then you’re system is capable of doing the rest.
4. Learning new stuff is challenging but fun.
5. The simpler you make it the better you’ll do. I’d be very wary of anyone who makes learning complicated.
The golf lesson here is that you should NEVER break your swing down into lots of little parts and try and piece it back together again. That makes it too hard. The key is to start with easy shots and progressively make them harder. You want to make sure you practice a complete motion and keep the swing flowing.
– start with a smaller club
– hit the ball short distances
– gradually increase your swing speed
– gradually aim to hit the ball longer and higher
Once you feel you’ve mastered the easy stuff it’s easy (and very natural) to go a little harder. Watch the video below.
P.S. If Wilton Chesterfield III sees this I have a message for him: {finger}
